TYDC Launches TYDC-503 Automatic Point Wrapping Adhesive Tape Machine

Taping wire harnesses by hand takes time and results are never the same twice. We made the TYDC-503 to fix that.

It wraps tape at set points on the wire automatically. Same spot, same number of wraps, every run. The tape comes out flat — no bubbles, no misalignment.

You set it up through a touchscreen. Wrap count, speed, total production count — all adjustable. It accepts PVC tape, cloth tape, with or without liner. Switching between tape types does not require tools.

We sell this to automotive harness lines, cable assembly factories, and power cord manufacturers. Anywhere that needs point taping done fast and consistently. Operators who used to do this by hand usually notice the difference within the first shift — output goes up and rejects from bad taping go down.

One machine handles what two or three people were doing before on busy lines. The wrap position does not drift between pieces either, which matters when harnesses go into tight spaces and the tape has to land in a specific spot every time.

Works well at the end of lines running wire finishing assembly and terminal crimping upstream — taping is usually the last step before the harness ships out.
